Do you need a Parent Coach?

Having someone to talk to, someone to listen to your reality, someone who can advise you on logical, proven techniques that will calm your mind and organise your home life can be a huge benefit. Working with a Parent Coach means having a safe space for you to test your ideas and receive honest opinions in a private, confidential setting. This intimate space allows you to consider your own reactions and uncover potential solutions or, indeed, issues before they arise at each step on the journey.

While parenting can be a rewarding experience, the reality is, for many, it is rarely plain sailing. Sometimes being bombarded with too much information on how to be the perfect parent can lead us to question if we even know what kind of parent we want to be. Maybe your child’s behaviour is really testing your boundaries, and you don’t know if they are the right boundaries to have or how rigidly you should stick to them. Perhaps the opposite is the case - you can’t find anyone to tell you how you can support your child, how you can put structures in place that uplift and help them.

When reality gets too complicated for you to solve on your own, that’s when speaking with a Parent Coach can really help. Being able to pour out all the thoughts you have on the situation to someone who listens without judgement or prejudice; having the veil pulled back so you can truly see how all the factors interconnect; learning how to make incremental changes that are tailored to your own family dynamic to reduce stress and tension, these are the benefits to having a Sounding Board. So the question is Do You Need a Sounding Board?

“I’m calmer so they’re calmer - life is just calmer!! I had no idea how much coaching could help us all”
